Dark Summoner Events

Stamp Collection

Stamp collection is essentially a daily login bonus, generally with better rewards as more "stamps" are collected. So far, all stamp collections have had 10 stamps available but run a bit longer than 10 days, meaning you do not have to have 10 consecutive login days to achieve all stamps. Stamp bonuses have included gold, ally points, summons (including Dark Summons and special summons), elixirs, energy and battle point potions and unique monsters.
See: List of Stamp Collections

Social Media Bonus

There are several variations seen in Dark Summoner's Social Media Bonuses. Simply "connecting" Dark Summoner to Twitter, OpenFeint and Facebook give additional daily bonus summons. Also, Twittering a message to view the game's trailer sometimes gives daily bonuses outside the login bonus, and has included Soul Point and Ally Point bonuses.

Collection Missions

Dark Summoner has previously had collection missions which were comprised of collecting Orbs, which were randomly awarded for doing regular missions (only uncompleted missions, to keep high-level players from farming 1-energy missions hundreds of times in a row). There were several tiers of award for this, including unique summons, ally point and gold bonuses, and various potions.

Special Missions

Dark Summoner continually hosts special missions. These missions can be very straightforward (Tower style events), where the point is to complete as many floors as possible, or a more interesting event such as a battle tournament with special rules. These events are separated by a gap of 1 day, and last between 1 to 2 weeks.

Dark Summoner Den of Woe Event

Keep tapping your way to find Dark Mirriors, and after every set (100 floors) you summon an exclusive rank AA monster, then combine two for a powerful AA+ monster. Try to get up to the 500th rankings, because there are mid-event and event rewards exclusive for those who can get up there in the rankings. After researching the Labyrith event from last time (same exact event), you would need to spend plenty of energy potions to get up there, and likely you would need to reach 2,000+ floors by the end of the event. The very first day there were people already reaching 500+ floors, so you should stock up after each AA event to try to get up there in the rankings.

this current event:10/12/12.CREATURE RAISE.
Pretty straight forward name, and simple nature.spend your energy points on the "most current"incomplete missions
to discover shards that feed or "raise"your monster from rank C to as high as AA+.These monsters are apperently
randomly selected when you get your first shard.slowly changing a,unique to the event monster illustration as you
grow it through the ranks.often during the tapping of the mission progress button you get a shard, again offten along
with monters that would normally be gained from missions and lord collection items are bonus items like ally points

"my 100's" and i think bp and ep potions.be prepared for a one sided game experience as battle is about all you can do while waiting for your energy to heal.as most of this found inside the event information page(in game) its nice to see within a forum.dark summons as always will often produce progression event monsters that when placed in your formation as leader will increase your chance of discovering shards.one thing to note is that the progression card has to be of a different clan than the card you are raising to recieve these frequency bonus'.seems wierd but this is stated in game on event page details/small print.
after you craft a AA+it clears the page and you "may select a new monster to raise".after the whole event you
are able to collect whatever you raised.free bingo summons(concurrent mini game to this event)may produce event prog's.i base this on the past even ,where i was awarded a"free dark summons from completing a "wall" lvl and recieved an event monster.i would hazzard that this is rare.

Dark Summoner Dark Lords

Dark Lords are powerful unique monsters obtainable from Raids. Raids can be done only after the corresponding loot set is completed. Loot sets consist of six collectible items, and all six must be collected in order to begin a Raid. Collectible Loot items are featured in the regular missions. Each area may have up to three Loot items, however, some areas may have none at all.

Players may have more than one loot in a set than the other pieces, however, at least one of each of the six items is needed to complete a set. Raids do not have to be completed in order, but the order below, as well as the order in game, is the order in which the Collectible Loot will appear and is the supposed order in which Sets should be completed. For each Raid completed, a reward of Gold, FREE B Summon, or the actual Raid Monster will be given. The first Raid will always reward the player with the Dark Lord Monster defeated. Each subsequent Raid will result in a random reward of one of the three mentioned above, with Gold rewards varying from 10,000 to 30,000. It is possible to get another Dark Lord on a subsequent Raid, however there is no guarantee no matter how many Raids have been completed. Dark Lord Monsters all have a Rarity Rank A, and may be evolved into a Rarity Rank A+. However, these Monsters all have a relatively low BP, and are by no means considered elites. They are mainly used as fillers in parties for combos, or for use by new players.

Dark Summoner Collectable Loot

Collectable Loot is rare items that are dropped in certain regular missions instead of monsters. Once all six pieces of Loot in a Set are collected, they may be exchanged for a Dark Lord Crystal, which is used to initiate a time-limited Dark Lord Raid event. If the Dark Lord is defeated, you will receive it as a powerful, usable A-rank monster.
Collectable Loot is arranged below by the associated raid. The area and mission for each item is formatted below as [Area.Mission] - (i.e. "Yellow Rainbow Fungus" is discovered in area 3 on mission #5)

Dark Summoner Combos

Combos are boosts which give certain parameters (Attack, Defense, or HP) a boost if a party of monsters shares a similar quality. Only full parties with five different monsters will have combos. Partial parties or parties with a repeating monster will NOT receive combos. Normal Versions and + Versions of monsters count as different, meaning a party can have the A Version and A+ Version and still receive combos.
Below is a list of the combos found in Dark Summoner:
Name ATK+ DEF+ HP+ Condition
Rarity Combo 10% 10% --- Form a party using monsters of the same rank. Evolved (+) monsters are a different rank than unevolved. EX: Only B or B+ but not a mix.
Impulse Combo 10% 10% --- Form a party using only Impulse type monsters.
Covert Combo 10% 10% --- Form a party using only Convert type monsters.
Psycho Combo 10% 10% --- Form a party using only Psycho type monsters.
Winged Combo 15% --- --- Form a party using only monsters with Wings. (See Illustrations)
Species Combo* 15% 15% --- Form a party using only one species of monsters. (IE "Brute" or "Demon")
BP Combo 5% 5% --- Form a party using five monsters with the same BP.
Level Combo 5% --- --- Form a party using five monsters of the same level.
Legendary Combo --- --- 10% Form a party using five Dark Lords (Raid Bosses)
Skill Combo --- 10% --- Form a party in which all monsters have the same skill

Dark Summoner Monster Mutations

Monsters below A-level can mutate into other creatures through sacrifice. This only works if one creature is sacrificed at a time, and appears at this time to result in a random new creature which may be of higher tier than the original. The level of the new creature is reset to 1, regardless of the existing level of the mutated creature. When a monster is being mutated, the lightning around the pillars you see in the animation, is blue instead of purple.

It is unknown at this time what variables affect mutations, or if certain creatures have a set number of other creatures they can mutate into. At this time, the in-game documentation has very little information about this process and hopefully it will be a more developed mechanic in the future.

The in-game help states that "When you Sacrifice, there is a chance a mutation may occur where the enhanced monster metamorphoses into a different monster. In this case, the level of the mutated monster will go back to Level 1. Please note that mutations will not happen when more than one monster is consumed in a single Sacrifice. It is said that mutations are more likely to occur in Rank C monsters." This appears to imply that mutations are entirely random, affected only by the Rank of the monsters involved.
If you have experimented with this mechanic, please post your experiences in the Talk section. Please include the tier, level and type of creature that was mutated, and the same for the one that was sacrificed, then the type and tier that was created.

Dark Summoner Items

Items in Dark Summoner
There are a number of items available in Dark Summoner, some can be purchased with Soul Points (mostly available as premium, paid content), and most can be obtained through special events, boss battles or other methods.

Energy Potions

  •     Energy Potions refill the player's energy (used for missions, raid battles and special events) completely.
  •     My Energy Potions also completely refill the player's energy, but are non-tradable.
  •     My 100 Energy Potions refill 100 energy, and are non-tradable.
  •     Energy Potions cost 100 soul points in the Store. (~$1.00 USD)

Energy Potions are very valuable to high-level players, as energy refills slowly over time, meaning that it will take 10 times longer for a player with 300 energy to refill than one with 30 energy. It is much more profitable for low-level players to trade energy potions than to use them in most cases, as high-level players have access to many more rare and powerful creatures that they are willing to trade.

Battle Point Potions

  •     Battle Point potions refill the player's Battle Points (used for battling other players) completely.
  •     My Battle Point Potions also completely refill the player's Battle Points, but are non-tradable.
  •     My 100 Battle Point Potions refill 100 Battle Points, and are non-tradable.
  •     Battle Point Potions cost 100 soul points in the Store. (~$1.00 USD)

Battle Point potions refill the player's BP gauge. Battle points are used for players to PVP battle. Again, as with energy potions, low-level players are better off trading than using BP potions in most cases. These are generally considered less valuable than energy potions, but are still very much desired by players that are trying to reach the top tiers of the battle ranking ladders.

Elixir

  •     Elixirs refill the player's energy and Battle Points (used for battling other players) completely.
  •     My Elixirs also completely refill the player's energy and Battle Points, but are non-tradable.
  •     My 100 Elixirs refill 100 energy and Battle Points, and are non-tradable.
  •     Elixirs cost 150 soul points in the Store. (~$1.50 USD)

Elixirs refill both the BP gauge and the Energy gauge. They are mostly only available as premium items purchasable with Soul Points. As with Energy Potions and Battle Point Potions, they are the most valuable to high-level players, and have more benefit to lower level players as items for trade.

Gold

Gold can be obtained by doing missions, awarded for various achievements, mission boss battles, selling monsters, PVP battles or as part of daily bonuses. Its only use at this time is for spending on leveling up monsters via sacrifice.

Summon (Normal)

Summons are used to summon mostly low-tier monsters, and can be obtained through login bonuses for the most part. As of this time, C through A tier creatures have been obtained via this item.
Summon (Special)

There are various special summons in Dark Summoner, which either limit (Such as B-Level Summons) or expand the kind of creature that can be obtained from use. Most special summons are obtained through Special Events, and can be the only way to obtain the rarest and most powerful monsters in the game, except for trading.

Dark Summon

A Dark Summon is basically an upgrade of the Normal Summon item. It can be obtained through special daily login bonuses or by purchase with Soul Points. Since it is mostly a premium item, it is uncommon and moderately valuable. B through AA tier monsters have been obtained through this item at this time.

(Ed: A tier limit is uncertain with Dark Summons. Please update if you have obtained a higher-tier monster through this method.)
Monster Limit +

These items expand the number of monsters that can be kept in your inventory at one time by 10. Ateam Inc recently announced that they would be removing this item as a purchasable item, and it would only be obtainable in the future through special events or similar. This makes this item extremely valuable, especially to high-level players that may need more inventory space.

Player Name Change

This item is rarely found in the store, and offers the ability to change a player's username once. Surprisingly, it is highly trasured and mostly sold for an exaggerated amount of energy potions.
Skill Point Reset

  •     Skill Point Resets cost 3000 soul points in the Store (~$30.00 USD)

This is a premium item, and the most expensive one available in the Shop at this time. However, if you find that you have (for example) built your character as a PVP machine but want to be able to do more missions, this might be the only way to go. Best used as a last resort, as it is the ultimate case of an ounce of prevention preventing a pound of cure.
